SAW Welding Carbon Steel

It is an automatic process, in which a bare wire is fed to the part. This process is characterized by the fact that the arc remains submerged in a mass of flux, provided from a hopper, which moves in front of the electrode. In this way, the arc is invisible, which is an advantage since it avoids the use of radiation protection elements.

Characteristics

  • This process allows to obtain deposits of comparable or superior properties of the base metal.

  • 100% performance.

  • 100% radiographic welds.

  • Homogeneous welds.

  • Good looking welds and uniform penetration.

  • No special protections required.
